The Will of

Admiral Sir John LAWFORD KCB 1757-1842

 Notes on reading this transcript.

I have tried to transcribe this will as accurately as possible, that is to say I have not corrected any of the spelling. Here are some examples:

mopies = moneys

expences = expenses

favor = favour

controul = control

holden = held

cesser = cease ?

If I am not sure of a word I have underlined it and if I don't know the word I have entered a dotted line which represents the estimated the number of letters. If you think you can identify any of the underlined words I would very much like to here from you. (e-mail).
